You can still play the singleplayer part of these games with depth buffer effects on though as these do not use use the network. Make sure MSAA/SSAA is disabled if you want to make use of these effects, since depth buffer access does not work with them being enabled.Īlso note that to prevent cheating Reshade will disable the depth buffer in multiplayer games when there is network traffic to and from the game. This allows for more complex effects like depth of field, which need that information to work properly. The depth buffer provides information about the third dimension of a 3D scene, in contrast to only the normal color buffer other injectors provide, which is restricted to two dimensional data.
